This is to accommodate Selina, who is still attending physiotherapy sessions following her on-set accident last October. If she stands for too long, her legs will swell. Her scars still itch. The couple decided to keep the wedding simple and will only go on their honeymoon to Europe next year.
Commenting on their choice to keep things simple, Richard expressed, "Selina wanted to get married. To us, this is just a ceremony and making a wish come true. Getting married is what every girl wants Nothing's changed between us. Right now we are already living like a married couple."
Even their honeymoon plans have to be pushed to later. When asked when, Richard said the earliest would be next year, "We can't be bringing a nurse with us on our honeymoon or have her wear pressure suit."
The lawyer also added that the doctors once said that Selina will recover within a year but judging from the starlet's current condition, Richard thinks that it is impossible. He said, "Someone even told me that she will be up and jumping within half a year. At the time, I actually believed it was true."
On life after their marriage, Richard revealed that he will be staying with Selina first but has already made plans to buy a new house.
