The singer's boyfriend is said to be losing weight for his big day

Taiwanese pop group S.H.E.'s Ella Chen was believed to have postponed her wedding with her Malaysian boyfriend Alvin Ng to Mar 31 next year, as fellow group member Selina Jen was reportedly marrying her fiancé Richard Chang this year.

Yesterday, the couple was spotted at a restaurant in Taiwan's eastern district. However, they were not alone.

They had with them two other friends, and with this, it seems like the pair's relationship is already no secret amongst their friends.

During their meal, Alvin was seen putting his arm over Ella's shoulder, while the singer rested her head on her beau's broad shoulders from time to time.

After their meal, the couple headed towards their parked car.

The pair was unaware that they were being followed until the flash from the reporters' camera went off.

Ella looked shocked when she saw reporters, while Alvin stepped away from the singer almost immediately.

Alvin, who looked slimmer than before, had reportedly lost weight in preparation for his big day with Ella.

When the paparazzi turned their attention to Alvin, who attempted to leave, he shyly thanked the reporter who praised him for losing weight.

Ella, who was standing at the other end, pleaded for the reporters to stop attacking her boyfriend.

When probed about their wedding, Ella laughed, "Not so soon!"

When asked if she had met Alvin's parents, the singer requested for the paparazzi to move their car instead, clearly indicating she did not wish to comment any further.

In response to Alvin's weight loss, Ella's recording company HIM International claimed that he had always been thin, and if he really did lose any weight, it must be due to the hot summer weather.
