The starlet's plans for her new EP and autobiography are all put on hold for now
It has been 10 months since Taiwanese pop group S.H.E.'s member Selina Jen was burnt on the set of I Have A Date With Spring.
A few days ago, Selina's father excitedly announced on his microblog that the starlet can now do a small jog on the treadmill.
However, an insider revealed that all good news about Selina's recovery is the result of the pain and hardship that the singer goes through during physiotherapy.
It was also said that her physiotherapy sessions were so tough that it caused her severe pain and emotional stress. A few days ago, Selina even shouted that she feels as though she is being "possessed by the devils".
The starlet reportedly had to do five hours of skin-tearing therapy, which may cause her wounds to tear open and cause excruciating pain.
However, Selina's fiancé Richard Chang would visit Selina daily to help the therapist with Selina's wound cleansing and changing her medication.
Richard mentioned that despite having to spend most of her mornings doing physiotherapy, Selina would still take breaks in between to take a breather from the pain.
Yesterday, Selina's father publicly thanked his daughter's wedding gown designer Lin Li, and also everyone who gave her their blessings.
He also gave a special mention to Richard, expressing his gratefulness to him for sharing a life and death relationship with his daughter.
Apart from that, Selina's autobiography and EP which were scheduled to be released in October are temporarily put on hold.
Selina expressed that it was because, Richard's book The God Chose You had already reflected all that she had been through, and she has yet to complete the lyrics for her new song.
HIM International also mentioned that they had held several meetings to discuss Selina's work, but judging from her current condition, they would not want to give her too much pressure.
