past:

present:
at the present he may feel lonely or may still be making mistakes in love.
she asked him to appreciate the wait, and be glad that he have not met her yet when he was still making mistakes. it is after all the wrong turns that we took in life that we will finally understand what love is.
future:
if he thinks she is worthy of his love, she asks him not to forget that she was abandoned by somebody else before. if he will come to admire her strong character and gentleness, it’s all thanks to the pain that she had gone through.
after they have fall in love with each other, all the regrets that they had gone through in life will seems like the wait that lead to them coming together. when they finally have each other, their lives will turn for the better.
