An on-set accident during the filming of drama I Have a Date with Spring left Taiwanese singer Selina Jen severely burnt and caused her to indefinitely postpone her April wedding.
After taking Selina's health into consideration, the Apr 1 shindig was put on indefinite hold and fiancé Richard Chang explained, "It's more important that her body recovers."
A few days ago, Richard spoke of his wedding plans with Selina again.
"We can get married anytime," he said.
The lawyer expressed his hopes of marrying Selina this year, saying that he did not mind filing for marriage first and holding the actual wedding later. However, the final decision lies with Selina.
Sharing on the wedding details, Richard said that Selina is not fussy over her bridal gown and added that his father, a more traditional person, hopes that the ceremony will not be made to resemble a variety show.
When asked about Selina's injuries, Richard revealed that the blisters and scars have decreased, although the singer will still have to wear pressure clothes for another year.
It is said that Selina's right hand is severely injured and the starlet has difficulties bending her joints. Injuries on the singer's lower part of the body are more serious. The newly grown skin on Selina's legs is taut and tight and prevents her from standing for a long period of time. He added that she can only stand for as long as three minutes.
