The Taiwanese pop starlet's fiancé reveals shocking information in a recent interview
Last October, S.H.E member Selina Jen was badly burnt on the set of drama I Have a Date with Spring, which left her hospitalised for 89 days. The pop star was discharged on Jan 19, and has since been recuperating at home.
In a recent interview, Selina's fiancé Richard Chang revealed that the singer's assistant had filmed the entire ordeal.
One night, after Selina's discharge, she asked him: "I have the explosion video, do you want to see it?"
"You don't have to see it. You were there; you'd never forget [what happened]. Send it [the video] to me, delete [it]," Richard told Selina.
However, Richard did not delete the shocking video clip. The video is a constant reminder of the horrific accident.
The lawyer also expressed his unhappiness with drama director Chen Ming Zhang's attitude.
"I wish he could do something to compensate Selina. Father Jen is a benevolent man, he wouldn't be difficult, or make him a bankrupt. If he doesn't want to give monetary compensation, he can volunteer his services at the Sunshine Social Welfare Foundation, or donate to them," Richard suggested.
Richard further described the director's complacency, adding that Chen was frequently heard on set as saying, "Did you see that? That's why I'm paid so much." Chen also allegedly said he would "burn the disobedient person, [and] the person with the least number of fans".
When talking about Selina, Richard emotionally said, "I look at [the scars] daily. I'll look at them until I'm used to it. Both of us will become used to them together."
