[Selina] News+Video: Selina Jen has yet to register her marriage

Taiwanese singer Selina Jen married her fiancé Richard Chang on Oct 31. However, the pair has yet to sign the official marriage papers.
According to the Taiwanese media, Selina was spotted entering a hair salon with her assistant last Saturday. Decked in a dress, she reappeared 30 minutes later, carrying her beloved pet Pinky with one hand and toys in the other.
Selina bade the staff at the salon goodbye and left with a smile on her face.
Despite still wearing a pressure suit, Selina's condition appeared to be better than expected. The singer walked down the stairs without help and left in a car. However, there were no signs of husband Richard.
Selina expressed that she was pleased with her hairstyle, because it was similar to her teenage idol Ryoko Hirosue. She had once attempted the style during her school days, but had failed terribly.
Eight days into her marriage, Selina looked blissful and admitted that she enjoyed being called 'Mrs Chang'.
The singer then revealed that due to the intensive wedding preparations, she and Richard had yet to register their marriage. They are expected to go legal once Richard finishes the promotion for his new book.
Selina added that life after marriage had not changed much, because they are both financially independent, with her mother handling her finances.

S.H.E. member Hebe Tien, whose sexual orientation has always been a mystery, recently caught the bouquet at her best friend Selina Jen's wedding.
That night, Hebe exclaimed, "I thought I would never get married!"
Two days later, the singer was spotted on a movie date with a close female friend.
Decked in a hat and a camel-coloured sweater, Hebe was out on a movie date with A-Mei's manager Zhong Ruo Han. This was the second time the pair had been caught on a date.
Initially, the two were walking shoulder to shoulder at a local food bazaar. Ruo Han would lean towards Hebe, to recommend her food around them. When they realised they were being followed, Ruo Han immediately kept her distance from the singer. She later left, forgoing the movie.
An awkward Hebe was faced the media alone.
When asked if she was there for a movie with a friend, Hebe covered her mouth with a hand and shook her head. Reporters probed if the singer was with Ruo Han, but Hebe merely gave a stern look and did not comment.
Hebe then said she would "let nature take its course", when reporters asked if she wanted to get married as soon as possible, since she caught the wedding bouquet at Selina's wedding. The singer then left in a car hurriedly.

[Selina] News: Selina Jen once contemplated suicide
The starlet would not be able to become pregnant in the next three years because of the medication she is currently taking
Taiwanese singer Selina Jen finally married long-time fiancee Richard Chang on Oct 31.
At the press conference for his new book Yong Ai Shou Hou (Staying by with love) yesterday, Selina's father let on that his daughter would not be able to become pregnant in the next three years.
On his new book, Father Jen said, "I sold my life story, in exchange for everybody's support. Proceeds from the sale of the book will all go to the Sunshine Foundation for burnt victims."
When asked if he was eager to have his own grandchildren, Father Jen expressed, "Selina has to take different medication daily. She is not able to give birth now. She has to wait for two to three years before her skin tissues stabilise."
However, he emphasised that he would respect the newlyweds' decisions.
Additionally, Father Jen shared how his wife was heartbroken after Selina's accident.
"I wouldn't give birth to her, if I knew this was going to happen. Then, she won't have to go through such torture," Mother Jen apparently said.
Mother Jen also revealed that Selina contemplated suicide many times after her accident. Father Jen also asked her why she did not use a body double for her scene in the drama.
To which Selina replied, "Luckily I didn't use a body double. I'd be stricken with guilt, if [the double] was hurt instead."
The singer believes that she is able to receive a huge compensation and comprehensive treatment because of who she is.

小彬彬下个月12日将在京华城K9办喜宴，2个儿子小小彬、迷你彬是花童，由於第1次结婚在台北、新竹共席开90桌，这次小彬彬低调只宴请至亲好友，席开约15桌，与小小彬合作过的言承旭、周渝民、吴建豪、Ella、安以轩等人，他都会发喜帖。
Xiao Bin Bin will just have a low-key dinner wedding consisting of 15 tables. Ella is invited along with Jerry Yan, Vic Chou, Vaness Wu, Ady An, etc. who has worked along with his son, Xiao Xiao Bin.
PS: In case some doesn't know, Ella has worked with Xiao Xiao Bin twice. In Down with Love, he's Yu Ting. And he's also in Ella's upcoming movie "Matchmade in Heaven". Xiao Xiao Bin's father is Xiao Bin Bin :)

Editor’s note: Hebe is very logical and mature, but at the same time kiddish. When she is working, she is very decisive on her costumes and performance style, but she’s not rash. Her cool-headedness is used on her work; her zeal is only shown to those close to her. She is just like a slow-brewing nutritious soup. When you spent time to know her, she is somebody who will warm your heart.

“Every time I hug and say goodbye to my parents, i’ll treat it as the last”
During the first time when we worked with Hebe, Ella's sister came to visit her. That was the time when we saw the sentimental side of Hebe. She dashed forward and gave Ella's sister a bear hug. “Whenever I said goodbye to my parents and brother now, I’ll always give them a hug, because I didn’t know if it’ll be the last time I'll see them.” She has a deep relationship with her family, “outsiders can never understand the strong ties between us.”

Hebe is deeply influenced by her father. “My father showed me how to be a good person through himself. He taught me not to trouble other people, not to take advantage of others, and see things in different perspectives.” Hebe’s father doted on her since young, and once told her “I love you so much that I can give up my life for yours.” This is not a line from a movie, but Hebe family are very open in expressing their love for each other. “When my brother and I message each other, our messages are also full of loving words.”
“Why do I need to say those words that I don’t mean? I’ll feel very horrible”
Want or don’t want, right or wrong, there are no grey areas to Hebe. When the photographer told her to pose sweetly, she rejected the suggestion immediately, “that’s not me, I’ll feel uncomfortable!”. When she encountered situations where she need to say something on stage, “I don’t have anything to say but was forced to cook up something, I'll feel terrible.” When asked about her most unhappy thing, she said, “I don’t wish to share unhappy stuff. When I’ll look back, I'll think that it's just a small matter, there's no need to make a mountain out of a molehill.” Hebe opposed norms, and her rule is to not to do things that will compromise herself.
“I have a strong sense of justice, what’s right is right, what’s wrong is wrong.”
I asked Hebe, “are you someone with a sense of justice?” she doesn’t hesitate in answering, “Yes. In the past when I saw something that was not right, I’ll immediately dash forward to point it out, but now I’ve learnt to be more tactfully to avoid misunderstandings. I’ll perhaps ask, “What is the reason that makes you do this?” ” I think this sentence along with her sharp glance; all the co-workers would perhaps be terrified. She said “if they did nothing wrong, they shouldn’t be afraid.”
