After nearly two years, the trio appears in public for a charity auction together
Taiwanese girl group S.H.E. got together for the first time yesterday since member, Selina Jen's filming accident, for a charity event.
Being the trio's first appearance together since October two years ago, the charity event which aimed to raise NT$1 million (SGD$42,600), attracted a lot of media attention and hundreds of fans to its venue.
As ambassadors, the group donated signed shirts for auction, which brought in NT$27,000 (SGD$1140). When donations were slow to come in, Ella Chen suggested to donate clothes that the trio wore before, bringing in another NT$26,000 (SGD$1099) for the charity.
Selina, who is on the road to recovery, was seen wearing a pressure suit over her limbs under her outfit. The singer who got teary after seeing her passionate fans laughed and claimed that "the hot weather distracted me from crying." She also shared that a concert will be in the works once her condition improves.
It was rumoured that S.H.E. will be performing once again as a group at the Taiwan Golden Melody Awards on June 23. Responding to the speculations, Ella shared that they are "still in talks with the organisers."
